Yay! I love Wangechi's work--she is one of my favorite artists on earth and I've written about her process a lot in my career. Wangechi's work is ingenious, complex, and beautiful. Independent curator Okwui Enwezo, who was on the Deutsche Bank selection committee stated, "Her body of work is one that is very much engaged with the global image ecology, and her engagement with the archeology of that ecology is what makes it interesting."
