Joie de vivre

I know I’ve been on a mini French kick this week—for whatever reason its inspiring me. I saw this photo and loved it so much. I like the way her style communicates a carefree enjoyment of life—the trench, scarf, and gladiator sandals communicate that it’s a bit damp, but warm enough to walk around town in cute shoes. And, who are the fresh flowers for? Are they a personal treat or a gift? This is how I imagine myself running errands on a Saturday morning—happy and content.
