Stella McCartney brass serpent necklace with resin "pearl" details

This is really great costume jewelry. Lately I’ve been into chunky necklaces, in addition to wearing pearls with irony—the contradictory impulse of gobs of “pearls” and crystals with jeans, a t-shirt, and converse—the incongruity of that look appeals to me. This necklace reminds me of 70s serpent arm cuffs—my mom had one that I would wrap around my tiny neck like a choker when I was a little girl. I’d like to wrap Stella’s confection around my neck as well.
